Following the warping process, the sizing process takes place. Now, up to 24 warping beams are processed simultaneously to make a single sizing beam consisting of thousands of ends (threads). Customized chemical treatment is performed on the yarn to reduce its hairiness and increase its strength. Thereafter, it is quickly dried through several drying cylinders and wrapped into a Sizing beam weighing over 700kgs. It is then packed and delivered. Our journey began in 1993 with the installation of a traditional sizing machine. In 2008, we expanded our facility by bringing our first Automated Sizing machine from Jupiter India. It was a significant advancement during that period. Nevertheless, we continued to search for more efficient and effective solutions.
And thus, to automate the facility, we replaced traditional sizing with a highly mechanized imported machinery from Ukil Co. Ltd South Korea. Moreover, In order to adapt to the dynamic market, we upgraded our Jupiter sizing machine with an imported Karl Mayer sizing machine. Only a few facilities in 2015 had this technology. In 2021, we inaugurated our cutting-edge state-of-the-art sizing machinery- the Karl Mayer Pro Sizing. With two latest patented prosize technology size boxes and sixteen drying cylinders, it has a top speed of 200 MPM. It is truly one of its kind. Not only in Ichalkaranji but also in India, we are amongst the first to install this.
